Language and communication is at the heart of society. Learning how to use language to communicate wants and have needs met can be a complex task for many children. Our course will explore how language develops and the intricate challenges many children face who experience a variety of physical, emotional and cognitive difficulties.

Nope. No reading response is due tomorrow. We need to put it off for a week. The test was enough for now.
Are we going to be going over the reading response next time in class? Im not sure how to do it?
Yes. I will give the article out at the end of class. In addition you have these directions in Blackboard in the Assignment tab where you will submit your assignment electronically.
Read the entire article - if you did not get the article in class - get a copy from a friend.
Write three-five paragraphs summarizing how this article connects to topics we have discussed in the first 5 weeks of class.
Write 1-3 paragraphs summarizing new information you have learned from the article.
View the attached document for scoring information
Reading response is due Wednesday, March 5th.
Finally, I will be passing out a sheet of "Look Fors" that will help you know specifically what I am using to guide my evaluation.
