Hey!

Hey everyone! My name is Emily Blomquist and I am a freshman here, and I live in Case Hall. I love it here so far and I am an Elementary Education with Deaf and Hard of Hearing major. I was really excited to hear that you , Mrs. White, have experience in this field! I am really excited for this class!

I often miss my days in the classroom teaching deaf and hard of hearing children. I am seriously thinking about how I might make a career move at some point so I can be closer to working with kids and teachers in this field again! Of course, living with a grown college student who is deaf means I am the one who is getting an education!!! He teaches ME what I am supposed to do to be a better college instructor.

Actually, ever since he was about 5 years of age he has been one of the best teachers I have ever had. Our students and children have a way of doing that!
